Melissa is passionate about helping people to achieve their fitness potential. Melissa graduated from Saint Louis University with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Business Administration in 2018. She went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Saint Louis University in 2020. Since then, she has been working in Redmond developing her skills treating patients of all fitness levels and backgrounds. She utilizes a fitness-forward approach to rehab and works to build resiliency against future injury. Melissa values the importance of educating and training patients to take their health into their own hands and motivating them to achieve a sustainable healthy lifestyle.

Melissa started participating in CrossFit in 2021 and has been amazed by the energy and dedication of the community. In 2022, she received her Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete Certification from the Institute of Clinical Excellence (ICE). In this training, she learned how to effectively manage injuries and enhance performance of fitness athletes, including weightlifters and CrossFit athletes.

Melissa is also trained in treating pelvic health issues of the female and fitness athlete. She loves to walk alongside pregnant and postpartum moms who are trying to stay active during pregnancy and looking to safely return to their desired sport after baby arrives. Whether that is running, CrossFit, or dance parties with your toddler, she can help you get there.

In addition to CrossFit, Melissa loves running, hiking, mountaineering, and being on the water. She enjoys treating athletes and outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds in order to get them back to their favorite activity.
