Melissa carefully listened to my problems and came up with a personalized treatment plan that alleviated my symptoms and put me on the road to recovery. I worked with DPT Melissa Hussey and had a great outcome after our multi-month program. We went through a series of evolving exercises and stretches to make some initial flexibility improvements, then later focused on addressing specific weaknesses and imbalances throughout my hip. What was especially great was that the exercises were ones I could easily replicate and home or at the gym and didn't require any custom equipment. Additionally, my treatment involved some occasional assisted stretch and targeted massage gun on particular tension points.

I enjoyed Melissa's approach, which emphasized durable, long-lasting improvements to form and strength. She adjusted the regimen over time as we isolated the most stubborn pain points, was responsive to my level of soreness on any given day, and set realistic expectations for improvement timeframe as we increased the challenge level. She was able to relate to me as an active patient and as someone who wanted to return to contact sport, and managed my care with that in mind.
